KAWA Sarajevo

Sarajevo, BiH

KAWA is a small café interior shaped by restraint, texture, and atmosphere rather than overt gestures.

The project works with the existing structure instead of erasing it. Exposed brick walls, worn plaster surfaces, and traces of the original space are preserved and carefully balanced with new, calm interventions. The result is an interior that feels honest, layered, and quietly contemporary.

Natural materials dominate the space. Light wood furniture, neutral tones, and soft lighting create a relaxed and intimate environment, while simple forms allow textures and imperfections to remain visible. Nothing is hidden, nothing is overdesigned.

The layout encourages slow movement and informal gathering. The space is flexible, unpretentious, and human in scale — designed to feel equally comfortable whether full or almost empty.

KAWA is not conceived as a statement interior, but as a place that feels familiar from the first visit. A space where architecture steps back, allowing everyday rituals to take the foreground.

← Back to Projects

ZLATARA DAR

Sarajevo, BiH

ZLATARA DAR is conceived as a quiet interior for a precise craft.

Rather than relying on display or spectacle, the space is structured around clarity, proportion, and calm. Jewelry is treated as the focal point, while the architecture remains restrained and supportive — present, but never dominant.

The interior balances softness and precision. Warm wood surfaces, muted stone tones, and carefully integrated lighting create an atmosphere that feels intimate and composed. Display elements are reduced to their essentials, allowing each piece to stand on its own without visual noise.

Light plays a central role. It is controlled, indirect, and deliberate — guiding attention while maintaining a sense of ease and trust. Materials are honest, details are subtle, and transitions between spaces are fluid.

ZLATARA DAR is designed as a place of quiet confidence. An interior that reflects the value of what it holds, without needing to announce it.

← Back to Projects

ŽARKA HOUSE

Jahorina, BiH

ŽARKA House is a residential project shaped by warmth, proportion, and everyday comfort.

The architecture is intentionally calm. Spatial relationships are clear, transitions are soft, and materials are allowed to express themselves without decoration. Wood, stone, and neutral surfaces define the atmosphere, creating a sense of continuity throughout the house.

Natural light is treated as a building material. Openings are carefully positioned to bring light deep into the interior, shaping the spaces throughout the day and reinforcing the connection between inside and outside.

The layout prioritizes lived experience over formal gestures. Spaces are open yet defined, intimate without being enclosed. Every element is designed to support daily life rather than dominate it.

ŽARKA House is not about visual impact, but about lasting comfort — a home that feels grounded, warm, and quietly complete.

← Back to Projects

BAROLO Restaurant

Jelah, BiH

BAROLO is an interior defined by atmosphere, depth, and material richness.

The space is organized as a sequence of layered zones, allowing movement and pause to coexist. Dark tones, textured surfaces, and warm lighting establish a sense of intimacy, while the scale remains generous and open.

Materials are used to create contrast without excess. Concrete, wood, metal, and fabric are carefully balanced, allowing light to soften their presence. Custom elements and lighting details add rhythm to the space, guiding the experience without directing it.

The bar acts as a central anchor — both spatially and socially — while seating areas vary in character, offering different levels of privacy and engagement. The interior adapts naturally to different moods, from quiet evenings to lively gatherings.

BAROLO is designed as a place to stay longer than planned. An interior where architecture supports conversation, atmosphere, and the ritual of dining, without drawing attention away from it.

FACULTAS — School of English

Sarajevo, BiH

Facultas is designed as a learning environment that feels open, calm, and approachable.

The interior combines clear spatial organization with moments of warmth and playfulness. Simple furniture, natural light, and soft colors establish a focused atmosphere, while carefully placed graphic elements introduce character without overwhelming the space.

Movement through the school is intuitive and relaxed. Classrooms and shared areas are connected visually, encouraging interaction while maintaining a sense of comfort and scale.

The space supports learning without imposing formality.

Architecture remains in the background, allowing curiosity and attention to come forward.

Clouds Apartments

Dubrovnik, Croatia

Clouds Apartments is a small interior intervention within a historic building on Stradun, shaped by calm, light, and restraint.

The project works with the existing architecture rather than competing with it. Thick stone walls, deep window reveals, and traditional proportions are preserved and gently complemented with contemporary elements. Old and new coexist without tension, allowing the space to feel natural and unforced.

The interior is defined by a soft palette and tactile materials. Light wood floors, muted wall tones, and simple furniture create a quiet backdrop, while accents of blue reference the surrounding sky and sea. Daylight becomes a central element, moving through the space and changing its character throughout the day.

Furniture is modest and carefully scaled. Each element has a clear purpose, supporting everyday rituals rather than drawing attention to itself. The atmosphere is domestic, relaxed, and intentionally uncomplicated.

Among its guests was Tom Jones, whose stay reflects the project's understated character — a space that attracts attention not through spectacle, but through comfort, calm, and discretion.

Clouds Apartments is conceived as a temporary home rather than a hospitality interior — familiar, quiet, and unobtrusive — where architecture steps back and the city takes the lead.

Deloitte Central Office

Sarajevo, BiH

The Deloitte central office in Sarajevo is conceived as a calm, efficient working environment where clarity and comfort take precedence over visual noise.

The project is structured around openness and order. Workspaces are organised to support focus and collaboration, with clear spatial logic and unobstructed movement. Visual connections between zones are maintained, allowing the office to feel connected rather than fragmented.

Material choices are restrained and purposeful. Light wood surfaces, neutral backgrounds, and soft green accents introduce warmth without distracting from daily work. Acoustic elements and integrated lighting are carefully balanced to create a comfortable, controlled atmosphere throughout the space.

The interior avoids expressive gestures. Instead, it relies on proportion, rhythm, and consistency to create a sense of stability. Details are subtle, functional, and quietly refined.

This is not an office designed to impress at first glance, but one that reveals its quality over time — a workplace that supports concentration, well-being, and long-term use, allowing architecture to remain in the background while work takes center stage.

← Back to Projects

Apartment Ferhadija

Sarajevo, BiH

Apartment Ferhadija is conceived as a calm domestic interior within one of Sarajevo's most active urban streets. The project focuses on balance — between openness and privacy, softness and structure, contemporary living and the character of the existing space.

The layout is simple and legible. Spaces flow naturally, without visual noise or unnecessary separation. Materials and colors are deliberately restrained, allowing light, texture, and proportion to carry the atmosphere.

Warm wood surfaces, muted tones, and carefully selected furniture create a sense of ease rather than display. Decorative elements are minimal and intentional — present enough to add depth, never enough to dominate the space.

The apartment is designed for everyday life. A place that feels composed but relaxed, quiet but not distant. The architecture does not seek attention; it supports routines, pauses, and moments of rest within the city.

Apartment Ferhadija is not about making a statement. It is about creating a lived-in calm — a space that feels settled, balanced, and quietly confident.

← Back to Projects

KAWA

Dubrovnik, Croatia

KAWA in Dubrovnik is conceived as a hybrid space — somewhere between a shop, a living room, and a place to meet. Rather than functioning as a conventional retail interior, the space invites lingering and unplanned encounters.

The interior is bright, open, and deliberately flexible. White surfaces, exposed structure, and a restrained material palette create a calm backdrop where objects, people, and atmosphere take precedence. Furniture is arranged informally, almost domestically, blurring the boundary between public and private.

Large openings toward the street and the sea establish a strong connection with the city. The space changes throughout the day, shaped by light, movement, and seasonal rhythms, becoming part of everyday Dubrovnik life.

KAWA is not designed to impress at first glance, but to endure — a place entered without intention and left only after time has quietly passed.

← Back to Projects

Mutvak Vukovo

Jelah, BiH

Mutvak Vukovo is conceived as a small, self-contained retreat for gathering, cooking, and slowing down. The architecture is modest and grounded, responding directly to the landscape and the rituals of daily use.

The interior is organized as an open, adaptable space that shifts with the seasons. In summer, the house opens toward the terrace and pool, dissolving into the landscape. In winter, it becomes more compact and intimate, centered around warmth and shared meals.

Natural materials define the atmosphere — stone, wood, and muted textures that tie the interior to its surroundings. The boundary between inside and outside is intentionally softened, allowing views, light, and greenery to become part of the spatial experience.

Mutvak is not a typical weekend house, but a place shaped by rituals: cooking, conversation, and unhurried time. Architecture steps back, serving the landscape, the people, and the moment.

← Back to Projects

School and School

Sarajevo, BiH

School and School is a kindergarten located within an Austro-Hungarian era building in the center of Sarajevo. The project is guided by respect for the existing architecture and a careful understanding of how children experience space.

Rather than treating the interior as a playful object, the design focuses on calmness, clarity, and proportion. High ceilings, generous windows, and original spatial rhythms are preserved and gently complemented with new interventions that feel natural to the building.

Natural materials define the atmosphere. Light wood, soft tones, and tactile surfaces create a warm and balanced environment, while perforated panels and custom furniture introduce flexibility without visual noise. The palette is intentionally restrained, allowing light, movement, and everyday activity to become the main spatial elements.

The layout encourages independence, curiosity, and quiet concentration. Spaces are open yet clearly structured, offering children a sense of orientation and safety without confinement.

School and School is not designed to overwhelm or entertain, but to support growth through calm presence — a place where architecture steps back, giving room for learning, play, and everyday discovery.

← Back to Projects

Stay at Home

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Stay at Home is conceived as a place of retreat rather than display — a house designed to support everyday life, not to compete with it.

The project is defined by clear geometry and a restrained material palette. Natural wood, soft mineral surfaces, and muted tones create an interior that feels calm, grounded, and timeless. Materials are used honestly, without decoration, allowing texture, light, and proportion to shape the atmosphere.

The spatial layout is open yet carefully controlled. Living, dining, and kitchen areas flow into one another, while subtle shifts in material and ceiling height define zones without the need for walls. Large openings connect the interior to the surrounding landscape, blurring the boundary between inside and outside.

Light is treated as a material in itself. Daylight enters deep into the space, changing the character of rooms throughout the day, while artificial lighting remains discreet and warm, supporting evening rituals without dominating the space.

Stay at Home is not about novelty or visual impact. It is a house shaped by routine, silence, and presence — a place where architecture steps back, allowing life to unfold naturally.

← Back to Projects

TACTA IT Office

Sarajevo, BiH

The TACTA IT office is conceived as a quiet framework for focus, collaboration, and clarity.

Rather than following conventional office typologies, the project balances openness and separation through carefully placed glass partitions, controlled lighting, and a restrained material palette. Transparency is used not as a visual statement, but as a way to maintain connection while preserving concentration.

Dark tones, soft textiles, and warm wood accents create a calm, grounded atmosphere that counterbalances the technical nature of the work taking place inside. Acoustic comfort and visual order were treated as primary design tools, shaping spaces that feel composed rather than rigid.

Meeting rooms and shared areas are deliberately understated. Furniture and details remain secondary to use, allowing the space to adapt naturally to different rhythms of work throughout the day.

TACTA IT Office is not designed to impress at first glance. It reveals itself gradually — through comfort, usability, and a sense of quiet confidence that supports long-term work rather than short-term effect.

← Back to Projects

Tahas Mill Bakery

Tešanj, BiH

Tahas Mill is a small bakery interior shaped by simplicity, warmth, and everyday use.

The project combines contemporary interventions with familiar elements. Wood, ceramic tiles, and muted tones create a calm and approachable atmosphere, while carefully framed details give the space its character without overwhelming it. Nothing is exaggerated; everything has a clear purpose.

The interior is organized to be functional and intuitive. The counter, seating, and circulation are arranged to support daily rhythms — quick visits, short pauses, and moments of rest. Light is soft and controlled, allowing textures and materials to remain present rather than dominant.

Tahas Mill is not designed to stand out, but to belong. A modest, honest space where architecture quietly supports routine, craft, and the simple act of stopping for bread.

← Back to Projects

Vipend House

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Vipend House is conceived as a quiet refuge placed carefully within a steep natural landscape.

The architecture responds to the terrain by lifting the house from the ground, minimizing intervention and allowing the landscape to remain largely untouched. The building rests lightly above the slope, opening long views toward the surrounding forest and distant mountains.

Material choices are restrained and honest. Dark exterior surfaces contrast with the softness of wood inside, creating a calm transition from the exterior environment to the interior spaces. Large openings frame the landscape as a constant presence, allowing light, weather, and seasonal change to become part of daily life.

The interior is simple and grounded. Natural wood, tactile surfaces, and muted tones create a warm atmosphere without decoration. Furniture and built-in elements are reduced to essentials, leaving space for silence and stillness.

Vipend House is not designed as a statement object, but as a place for slowing down.

A house defined by its relationship to nature, light, and time — where architecture quietly supports retreat, rest, and presence.

← Back to Projects

Winter Shelter

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Winter Shelter is a small architectural retreat shaped by landscape, memory, and silence.

The project is conceived as a place of pause — a compact structure set gently into the terrain, responding to snow, forest, and distant horizons rather than dominating them. Its form is simple and restrained, reduced to essentials.

Materiality plays a central role. Timber surfaces, muted tones, and tactile finishes create an interior that feels warm without excess. Everything is close, measured, and intentional. Light enters carefully, framing the landscape as part of the living space.

The shelter draws inspiration from Bosnian stećci and rural vernacular — not through imitation, but through atmosphere. Solidity, protection, and timelessness are translated into a contemporary language.

Winter Shelter is not designed for comfort as luxury, but for stillness. A place to retreat, to observe, and to reconnect with the rhythm of nature.
